DESCRIPTION
It was in 1954 when Coco Chanel first used bouclé for a jacket, writing fashion history with the "Little Black Jacket." Due to its versatility, positive properties, and unique texture, bouclé soon established itself in men's fashion as well.
Bouclé is the French term for "curl" or "loop" and describes the characteristic irregular appearance. This is created by a special yarn, consisting of multiple threads twisted together to form a crimped surface. It gives the impression that the garment is made of interlocking loops.
With this structured knit polo shirt made from a light, soft bouclé-cotton blend, TOM RIPLEY presents an innovative interpretation of the classic sportswear item. The puristic, timeless design highlights the unique texture of the material. The classic button placket provides elegance, and the tipping on the collar creates a sophisticated retro-sport style. Knitted, elastic rib cuffs at the ends ensure a perfect fit without constricting and emphasize the nostalgic charm. The "French shoulder" is also a sign of the highest knitting craftsmanship.
When choosing trousers, you can hardly go wrong with this versatile garment. Jeans for a casual outfit go just as well as chinos for a more refined look. Combined with shorts or swimming trunks, you can create an outfit for your next vacation.
