DESCRIPTION
In 1954, Coco Chanel used bouclé for a jacket for the first time, writing fashion history with the “Little Black Jacket”. Thanks to its versatility and special texture, bouclé quickly found its way into men’s fashion.
The French term “bouclé” means “curl” or “loop” and describes the characteristic irregular look created by a special yarn. This consists of several twisted threads that form a crimped surface and give the impression of interlocking loops.
This knitted polo shirt is made from a light, soft bouclé cotton blend with a two-tone melange look. In contrast to the back and sleeves, only the front is patterned with a tonal diamond structure, which creates a true retro feeling. The modern, buttonless collar offers a casual look for relaxed outfits. Knitted, elastic rib cuffs at the ends ensure a perfect fit without constricting. The "French shoulder" is also a sign of supreme knitting craftsmanship. The polo shirt is refined with tonal embroidery on the sleeve – a tribute to TOM's film classic from 1959 ("...forging signatures and spend on almost anyone.").
When choosing trousers, you can hardly go wrong with this versatile garment. Jeans for a casual outfit go just as well as chinos for a more elegant look. Combined with shorts, you're ready for your next holiday.
