DESCRIPTION
It was in 1954 when Coco Chanel first used bouclé for a jacket, making fashion history with her "Little Black Jacket". Thanks to its versatility, positive properties, and unique texture, bouclé soon established itself in men's fashion as well.
Bouclé is the French word for "curl" or "loop" and describes its characteristic irregular appearance. This is created by a special yarn made of several threads twisted together to form a curly surface. This gives the impression that the garment is made of interlocking loops.
With this structured polo sweater made from a light, soft bouclé cotton blend, TOM RIPLEY presents a versatile garment for cooler days, combining the sporty elegance of a polo shirt. The puristic, timeless design highlights the unique texture of the material. The comfortable, open collar with tipping provides a relaxed retro-sporty look. Knitted, elastic rib cuffs at the ends ensure a perfect fit without constriction. The "French shoulder" is also a hallmark of superior knitting craftsmanship.
When choosing trousers for this versatile garment, you can hardly go wrong. Jeans for a casual outfit work just as well as chinos for a slightly more refined look. You can also combine it with a blazer for business occasions or more formal events.
