DESCRIPTION

In the early 19th century, Lord Raglan's tailor developed a sleeve construction that did not attach at the shoulder seam as was typical, but instead extended directly to the neckline. This made it easier to put on and take off and offered the officer greater freedom of movement. Over time, this distinctive sleeve shape was adopted by other tailors and fashion houses and, in honor of the man for whom it was originally developed, became known as the "raglan sleeve."
On this sweater made of pure merino wool, the raglan sleeves are more than just a stylish design element. The distinctive decreases at the sleeve head are an indication of "fully fashioned" construction—a meticulous craft defined by sustainability.
The buttonless skipper collar provides relaxed, casual elegance. It sits loosely on the neck, does not constrict, and gives you a free, comfortable feeling. The strikingly ribbed, soft cuffs on the sleeves and hem ensure a good fit without feeling tight.
Merino wool ensures an optimal body climate, as it warms in cold temperatures, cools in heat, and is both breathable and odor-neutralizing. The fine fibers are particularly soft and pleasant on the skin—completely itch-free.
Combine this sweater with its sporty-elegant touch for relaxed "casual weekend looks" with light jeans, a quilted vest, and white sneakers. With chinos or wool trousers, you are perfectly dressed for the office or dinner. Pair with leather sneakers or Chelsea boots.
This model was designed and implemented in creative collaboration with Munich-based content creator Tobi Haas.
