DESCRIPTION
In 1954, Coco Chanel first used bouclé to create a jacket, making fashion history with the "Little Black Jacket". Thanks to its versatility and unique texture, bouclé quickly found its way into menswear as well.
The French term "bouclé" means "curl" or "loop" and describes the characteristic irregular look created by a special yarn. This yarn consists of several twisted threads that form a crinkled surface and give the impression of interlocking loops.
This knitted polo shirt is crafted from a lightweight, soft bouclé cotton blend in a two-tone melange look. Unlike the back and sleeves, only the front features a tonal diamond pattern, creating a true retro feel. The modern, buttonless collar offers a relaxed look for casual outfits. Knitted, elasticated ribbed cuffs at the hem ensure a perfect fit without feeling restrictive. The French shoulder is another hallmark of superior knitting craftsmanship. The polo shirt is finished with tonal embroidery on the sleeve – a tribute to TOM's classic 1959 film ("...forging signatures and spend on almost anyone.").
When choosing trousers, you can hardly go wrong with this versatile garment. Jeans work just as well for a casual outfit as chinos for a more elegant look. Combined with shorts, you're ready for your next vacation.
