DESCRIPTION
It was in 1954 when Coco Chanel first made a jacket out of bouclé and made fashion history with the "Little Black Jacket". Due to the versatility, the positive properties and the special texture of the material, bouclé soon established itself in men's fashion as well.
Bouclé is the French term for "curl" or "loop" and describes the characteristic irregular look. This is created by a special yarn that consists of several threads that are twisted together to create a crinkled surface. This gives the impression that the garment is made of interlocking loops.
With this structured polo sweater made from a light, soft bouclé cotton blend, TOM RIPLEY presents a versatile piece of clothing for cooler days with the sporty elegance of a polo shirt. The puristic, timeless design highlights the unique texture of the material. The comfortable, fastener-free collar with tipping ensures a relaxed look in retro sports style. Knitted, elastic ribbed cuffs at the ends ensure a perfect fit without constricting. The "French shoulder" is also a feature of the highest knitting craftsmanship.
When choosing trousers, you can hardly go wrong with this versatile piece of clothing. Jeans for a casual outfit work just as well as chinos for a more sophisticated look. You can also combine them with a blazer for business occasions or fancy events.
